Wreaths-Bridges

Crowns (tooth sockets) and bridges are a type of restoration for missing teeth. They cover the entire tooth (chewing surface and periphery) and essentially mimic the natural tooth in shape, colour, aesthetics and function. There are many situations in which a tooth will need a crown.

Extensive caries, decayed teeth, cracked teeth, teeth whose large part is broken and aesthetic restoration are some of the reasons why the placement of crowns is recommended.

Bridges that restore missing teeth are essentially crowns that are joined together with bridges, as the part of a bridge that replaces the missing teeth is called.
